Join Temple Tikvah and Temple Judea for a unique learning opportunity for our students. Donna Rosenblum, a Holocaust educator and librarian, will share the testimony of Holocaust survivor Irving Roth. She will use Irving’s book, Bondi’s Brother, to teach the history and context of the Holocaust as she also honors his memory and legacy. Although Irving was known internationally, he lived locally, in Williston Park, and was the Director of the Temple Judea Holocaust Resource Center, now named in his memory. The program is developed for students 6th grade and above and there is no cost to participate. Wednesdays at 4:30pm at Temple Judea Program Schedule October 4** October 25 December 6 January 3 January 17 February 7 March 6, April 3 April 17 ** First session on October 4th includes pizza dinner in the Sukkah Adopt-A-Survivor Project In addition, using materials developed by Irving Roth, students will participate in an adopt-a-survivor project.
