A House of Worship That Feels Like Home
Warm and welcoming, Temple Tikvah is a spiritual home for Jews of all backgrounds. We strive to be a warm and welcoming place to families and singles, seniors and children alike. We welcome Jews by choice, Jews of all races, sexual orientations, and gender identities, including non-Jewish spouses and partners.
When two dynamic congregations came together in 2008, Temple Tikvah was born. Temple Emanuel of New Hyde Park and Temple Israel of Jamaica combined forces to create a spiritual center filled with joy, inspiration, and hope. Our congregation hails from Queens as well as Nassau County. We are truly a melting pot of diversity!
Our tikvah — hope — runs deep. Our hope guides us in everything we do, especially our hope for an endless caring community that is committed to strong connections to our faith and with each other.
We offer a wide range of programs that starts with our youngest members, the Tikvah Tots all the way through Adult Learning and Senior Programming. We hope you will feel at home with us and we can not wait for you to be apart of our Temple Tikvah family!
