LifeLong Learning

LifeLong Learning is a strong part of temple life. Our goals are to address the intellectual, cultural, and entertaining aspects of Judaism. Although we focus on adults, the whole congregation can participate in most of our activities. Our purpose is to support the non spiritual and religious needs of our members.

Through our programming, the congregation and surrounding community, can attend lectures, concerts, discussions, films, Hebrew classes, Jewish holiday cooking classes, trips to museums, walking tours, and historically important sites in and around the New York area.  We value "learning for learning's sake" and the continuous growth of the individual. We follow the interests of the congregants and explore its changing demographics

The LifeLong Learning Committee meets once a month. All are welcome to become part of the committee, and share in the planning and execution of programs for the year. We come to decisions through consensus with a focus on what is important for the growth of Temple Tikvah.
