Caring Community

The Caring Community reaches out to Temple members to help them to feel connected to the Temple, paying particular attention to those members who are ill or may be going through a particularly rough patch in their life.

We communicate on a personal level through visits, phone calls, cards, gifts and social activities at the Temple.

The committee strongly believes that connecting to Temple members on a personal level is essential to building a strong and sociable congregation.

We meet once a month, except in July, August , and February, on Monday mornings, at 11:15 in the Temple library, and we encourage all Temple members to join us.

We communicate regularly through e-mail and a phone chain.  In addition to the activities listed above, we run free afternoon get-togethers and participate in Temple Tikvah's
Mitzvah Day.
